"A true hero is not measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart." Hercules
Time is valuable, especially for you Daddy. Time is the equivalence of a life time. Six years with this atrocious tumor, four grueling surgeries, endless hours of recovery, then once again a victim to this sickness all over again and all you have is your strength. There you are fighting one day at a time for your life, you never complain. Not once. Insulin shots twice a day, six pills three times a day and not one complaint. And when people ask you how you’re doing, your answer never changes, “I’m doing better, just taking it one day at a time.” I believe that’s the only way to deal with it. Being negative towards a negative issue will never get you anywhere. And I’m afraid to ask sometimes. What if your answer changes? Is that your faith walking out on you? So I rather not ask. And throughout this journey you’ve taught me so much. PATIENCE. COURAGE. ENDLESS amount of HOPE AND FAITH. And even if at times things do get a little difficult for you, your WILL is there to carry you on. My hero in so many different ways. Years may come and go, a life time perhaps, but you'll always be my Daddy. I love you. Don’t ever give up on us. Peace.
