Before you parted
Sunsets were just that
A set time where the sun dies down
And returns due east the next day
Now I await its pristine debut
The array of colors vary from day to day
Vivid reds and oranges, specs of blues and purples
And somehow you come to mind
Your rich smile and lucid glare is there
Setting due west of me
I await your return each day.
Until then I’ll keep searching for you in each sunset

Missing you Dad.
